NC Global TransPark Fuel Farm Construction Continues

North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region is glad to report that work continues on the new North Carolina Global TransPark fuel farm! Site prep work was completed early this year, and now work has shifted to installing underground lines and the foundation for the three vertical tanks, which will have a 500,000-gallon fuel capacity. 

At this point, the project’s most noticeable part is the retaining wall being constructed around the foundation of the above-ground tanks. When complete, the new fuel farm, located adjacent to NC Global TransPark’s 11,500 ft runway, will better meet the fuel service demands of recent tenant expansions and future airport growth.

As one of the EDR’s regional partners, the North Carolina Global TransPark – Kinston Regional Jetport (ISO) in Kinston, NC, is a unique aerospace asset in southeastern North Carolina. This 2,500-acre multimodal industrial park with 11,500-ft. runway access is located in the heart of Eastern NC.
