Fleet Readiness Center East C-130 Facility Construction Starts at North Carolina Global TransPark
Site prep on the Fleet Readiness Center East C-130 MRO facility at the North Carolina Global TransPark is underway! Multiple crews are clearing and grubbing the 75-acre site to prepare for new facility construction.

Fleet Readiness Center East would gain much-needed space to perform maintenance and repair work on the Navy and Marine large transport planes, the C-130s. The NC Global TransPark intends to provide facility “support” for Fleet Readiness Center East, a Naval Aviation maintenance and repair depot under Naval Air Systems Command. This facility will provide space for maintenance operations on C130s and other aircraft for the Air Force and Navy.
As a unique regional partner of the EDR, the North Carolina Global TransPark – Kinston Regional Jetport (ISO) in Kinston, NC, is a key aerospace and transportation asset for Eastern NC.
