Site Work Progresses on Aviation Center for Excellence – NC Global TransPark

Construction progress continues on the future Lenoir Community College Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE) facility as Clancy and Theys Construction Company work the site.

Utilities such as water and fiber are being safely relocated and set up to access the new structure. The main power service for the facility is currently being installed. Preliminary site work is around 50% complete, with future site construction starting in the next few weeks.

The new learning facility will bolster our region’s commitment to aerospace industries, manufacturing, and Department of Defense operations support. It is designed to meet the present and future requirements of the aviation/aerospace workforce in our region and Eastern NC by preparing the next generation of aviation professionals!
