Lenoir County Manufacturers Association Meeting and Tour

The Lenoir County Manufacturers Association (LCMA) met yesterday at the Lions Industries for the Blind. The guest speaker was Scott Snead – Director of Industry Relations and CITE, College of Engineering and Technology at East Carolina University. The CITE Program at ECU provides a cost-effective alternative for specialized industrial training, project implementation, and consultation.

Trey Cash, Interim Existing Industry Representative for Lenoir County at the NC Global TransPark Economic Development Region, welcomed all attendees and shared information on his interim role in Lenoir County.

Dawn Kantz spoke on Lenoir Community College’s upcoming manufacturing training courses open to anyone interested in a career in manufacturing. An excellent opportunity for a new career!

After the luncheon and meeting, a tour of the Lions Industries for the Blind facilities followed.
