Senator Thom Tillis Visit to NCGTP

On June the 2nd, U.S. Senator for North Carolina Thom Tillis toured the North Carolina Global TranPark.  He was shown the recent progress of the NCGTP and was updated on upcoming potential projects.  The tour covered NCGTP’s latest tenants, Draken International, FRC East, as well as the Lenoir Community College Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Center and N.C. Emergency Management Eastern Region Branch.  Senator Tillis also toured the Mt. Olive Pickle plant in Mount Olive, NC earlier in the day showing his support for the agri-businesses in the region. As a regional partner of the NCGTPEDR, WCDA is thankful for the support of our state leaders.
