Wayne County Chamber Career Expo and Job Fair Supports Regional Workforce

EDR’s regional partner, WCDA, was present at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Career Expo and Job Fair on April 9th. This event was a two-part series with the Career Expo focusing on Wayne County high school sophomores and seniors and the Job Fair open to the public for adults seeking career advancement and educational growth.

It was fantastic to see so many of our WCDA investors and industries coming together to support the community and expose our youth to the endless career opportunities available. Julie Graham, Wayne County’s Existing Industry Director, even saw last year’s Launch Goldsboro pitch competition WCDA grant winner. Thank you to all the supporters of this event for making a difference and helping shape the future workforce of eastern NC.
