Interns from Historically Black Colleges and Universities Learn More About The Global TransPark

Recently, more than twenty interns and fellows from the NCDOT Office of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) looked to broaden their horizons by touring the North Carolina Global TransPark (NCGTP). These students visited tenants like Draken and flyExclusive and heard a presentation by Preston Hunter, executive director of the NCGTP. Students also explored the aviation and aerospace training options offered by Lenoir Community College at the Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Center. It was an excellent opportunity for interns and fellows to learn and network!
