State of the Military Event Informs Local Leaders

EDR’s Julie Graham attended the State of the Military event presented by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. The event provided attendees with the opportunity to hear from key leaders of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and the Military Affairs Committee. Topics covered included a comprehensive update on the Military Affairs Committee (MAC) and Friends of Seymour’s continued efforts in linking the base with the community.

The main topic of discussion was the future of SJAFB and the 4th Fighter Wing, which Col. Morgan P. Lohse, Commander of the 4th Fighter Wing, addressed by saying, “Seymour Johnson is going to be the long-term home of the F-15.”

EDR acknowledges the significant economic impact of SJAFB on Wayne County, the EDR region, and all of eastern North Carolina. We are grateful to all active-duty military personnel who call Seymour Johnson Air Force Base their home and strive to protect our country!
