NC Global TransPark Fuel Farm Construction – Update
The fuel farm project has made significant progress, especially with favorable weather conditions that have accelerated the work pace. Contractors are now in the final stages of the interior and exterior tank coatings, with only a few areas of the interior left to complete.
With the recent completion of the structural supporting concrete and retaining wall, contractors have shifted their focus to fabricating pipes and pumps. This process is expected to take several weeks. Pipe fabrication is critical for the facility’s operational integrity and will ensure that all systems function efficiently.
As the project progresses through these stages, final grading will also begin. This involves leveling the ground, installing pavement for vehicle access drives, and setting up fencing to secure the completed site.
The project remains on track for completion in early 2025, and we are excited to see all these components come together as we move toward the final stages of construction.
