HM Alliance, Inc. Announces Plans to Operate in Greene County

Great news in Snow Hill, NC today, HM Alliance, Inc. has announced plans to renovate and operate an existing facility in Greene County. HM Alliance, Inc. recently acquired the former Lakeview Packing Co. facility of approximately 49,000 square feet and 50 acres in the Arba community. HM Alliance, Inc. is a joint venture of Highland USA and Mercator, Inc.

HM Alliance will process pork and poultry into small pieces, which are processed as semi-finished products. The products will be sold in North America and overseas for business-to-business customers, such as restaurants and hotels.

The EDR staff welcomes HM Alliance, Inc. to the region. We are glad to see this existing facility in Greene County be utilized and jobs return to the area.
