FRC East C130 MRO Complex Construction UPDATE

The land clearing was finished in mid-June, and the site development is now being carried out by the joint venture of Barnhill Contracting and TA Loving Company, which will serve as the construction manager. The contractors’ office trailers have been set up on-site, and current objectives, including over-excavation removal, fill hauling, and fence improvements, are now ongoing.

This complex will provide space for Fleet Readiness Center East to perform maintenance operations on C130s and other aircraft for the Air Force and Navy, bring over 400 aviation jobs to the NC Global TransPark, and positively impact the economy of eastern NC and the EDR region.
