FRC East C130 MRO Complex Construction – UPDATE

Land clearing is complete, and site preparation is underway for the construction of the Fleet Readiness Center East’s C130 facility, which is projected to be completed in September 2026.

The NC Global TransPark intends to provide facility “support” for Fleet Readiness Center East, a Naval Aviation maintenance and repair depot under Naval Air Systems Command. This facility will provide space for maintenance operations on C130s and other aircraft for the Air Force and Navy.

This project will be a game changer for Eastern NC as it plans to bring over 400 jobs to the NC Global Transpark within the EDR region.
