EDR’s Mark Pope Attends the 2023 CAMX Expo

The CAMX was an excellent opportunity for Eastern North Carolina and its assets to be represented. EDR’s Mark Pope, ElectriCities Carl Rees, and North Carolina’s Southeast’s Megan Sellers connected with many composite and advanced materials exhibitors and industry representatives. They shared information on Eastern NC’s aerospace and advanced manufacturing strengths.

CAMX, the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo, is North America’s largest, most comprehensive composites and advanced materials event. This year’s expo was held from October 30 through November 2 in Atlanta, GA.

Booth Z55, where the group was stationed, was a happening place as they met with industry representatives to inform them about all Eastern North Carolina could offer to advance their expanding or new industries. Key assets like advanced manufacturing, labor force, existing aerospace industries, workforce training options, abundant interstate, highway, and shipping port access, and an 11,500 ft runway!
