Craig Foucht Named Director of Business and Project Management for NCGTPEDR
The North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region is excited to officially announce Craig Foucht as the Director of Business and Project Management.
Mr. Foucht previously served as the Executive Director of the Wayne Business and Industry Center at Wayne Community College. In his previous role, Mr. Foucht worked with business and industry in the area to assess workforce needs and create solutions to meet those needs. It was Mr. Foucht’s vision that started the apprenticeship initiative at WCC which includes a nationally recognized and award-winning Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship with Smithfield Foods and most recently the second registered teacher apprenticeship program in the North Carolina.
Mr. Foucht has been a resident of Eastern North Carolina since his father received orders to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in 1984. He is an alumni of Wayne Community College and East Carolina University. Craig and his wife Nikki have three children, Michael, Margo, and Matthew who all attend Bethel Church in Goldsboro. Mr. Foucht also serves on several community boards including the Wayne County Planning Board, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, and as the elected Wayne County Board of Education member for District 5. Craig is an excellent asset to the NCGTPEDR team, and we look forward to working with him to promote the region and Eastern NC.
