CAMX Expo

NC Global TransPark Economic Development Region, Senior Vice President Mark Pope, attended the CAMX – The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo in Anaheim, California, this past week. Mark, along with representatives for ElectriCities of NC, North Carolina’s Southeast, and Lenoir Community College, promoted Eastern NC’s assets and the region’s aerospace and advanced manufacturing strengths. Also, it was great to have reps from NCGTP’s Spirit AeroSystems stop by the booth!

At the expo, there were appointments to connect with some of the 460 composite and advanced materials exhibitors. In addition, the team answered questions from all who stopped by the booth. The event also showcased keynote speakers with open discussions that helped forge business opportunities with various stakeholders.

Through this trip, connections were made with vendors and potential clients from all over the world. #manufacturing
