Construction Begins on Aviation Center for Excellence

Clancy and Theys Construction company has started site work at the Lenoir Community College Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE) facility at the North Carolina Global TransPark. A security fence and contactors office have been set up, and earth-moving equipment is working the site.

The new learning facility will enhance our region’s dedication to aerospace industries, manufacturing, and Department of Defense operations support. It will cater to the current and future needs of the aviation/aerospace workforce in our region and Eastern NC by training the next generation of aviation professionals!
