Construction Continues on Fuel Farm at NC Global TransPark

Construction continues on the three vertical steel tanks that will serve the NC Global TransPark’s aviation fuel needs. This project involves impressive welding and fabrication work as the tanks are being plumbed. The tops of the massive tanks have also been put in place over the last few weeks.

This new fuel farm, with its storage capacity of 500,000 gallons of fuel, is located next to NC Global TransPark’s 11,500-ft runway. It will help meet the increasing fuel service needs with recent tenant expansions and the airport’s expected growth.
