NCDOT-HR Meeting and Tour of GTP
Today, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Human Resources Division in Raleigh visited the NC Global TransPark:
- NCDOT Division 2 give an update on projects and their progress.
- NCGTPEDR’s Mark Pope spoke on the region’s economic efforts, recent gains, and how the GTP is an anchor for growth in eastern NC.
- A presentation was given on the NCGTP and its vital role in the aerospace industry and DoD support.
After the meeting, lunch was served, and the group then toured the NC Global TransPark with stops at FRC East, Flyexclusive, and Draken International.
Through the discussions and tours, state HR leaders saw first-hand the assets NCGTP offers eastern NC and now to better understand the roles, duties, and demands of the staff here at the NCGTP.
